Description

A fun solo criterium race – I warmed up for the first lap, then went hard for 14 laps, then moderate for 5 laps and finally finished with 4 laps, including the last lap that done the very fastest of them all, at a time of just 1:07 for the .40 mile loop, hitting 21.4 mph for that lap. The overall average speed was a decent 19.4 mph, which was quite good considering I did that one easy initial lap and those 5 moderate pace laps. At least I did enough climbing to put my total for the month at just over 50,000 feet – a great way to end the month – and to end the year of 2006, too!!! WooooooooooHooooooooooo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
